Pharmacists comprise the third-largest healthcare professionals in the world so in India. In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 and 18 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948(8 of 1948), The Pharmacy council of India(PCI), with the approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Pharmacy Practice Regulations, 2015, Under the heading- “Details of the position title and Job responsibilities for Drug Information Pharmacist at Health Care Settings & Clinical Pharmacist at Hospitals, should possess Pharm. D. degree from an institution approved by the PCI”.
