World Pharmacist Day is celebrated every year on September 25 to honor pharmacists for their contributions to enhancing world health. SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University celebrated WORLD PHARMASISTS DAY, with the theme Pharmacists strengthening health systems: Angdaan Mahadan will take place on September 23rd and 25th, 2023. The program consists of various activities such as Best out of waste, OTC drugs, Rangoli making, Quiz, Relabeling, Advertisement of OTC drugs, Poster making, Food fiesta, Face Painting and Lab coat Distribution. The purpose of World Pharmacists Day celebration was to encourage activities that promote and advocate for the role of the pharmacist in improving health in every corner of the world.
This year’s theme aims to present opportunities to increase awareness of pharmacists as an intelligent solution for health services to meet future needs of health systems around the world after the COVID-19 crisis.
